Wildflower Wardrobe

A sweet commission for a lovely local family. We worked together on the design and colourways, it was originally a bespoke large wall cupboard in wood. The client is a creative collector of antique ceramics, wanting to give their master bedroom a new vision.

The clients room is within a beautiful ancient cottage in a local dales village with views overlooking the fields and distant hills. We wished to capture the beauty of the natural surroundings into the space, bringing the serene and idyllic surroundings into the interior.

In our initial design consultation we took inspiration from their village’s wild flowers. Pairing this concept with the colours of their soft furnishings within the interior. The flowers were then hand drawn onto the large piece individually. Every panel a different wild flower, So the whole feeling of the work is like a painting in essence. The commission was designed in advance with design boards provided after measurements were taken. This is a piece that the client wants to keep intact forever.
